ABOUT ME
TV, RADIO & PODCASTS
I’m a Creative Producer specialising in Comedy, Music, and The Arts, with experience in location recording, craft editing, mixing and sound design for Radio and TV. I’m a seasoned camera op and video editor, and recently directed and edited BBC Scotland’s Edinburgh Festival series Edinburgh Unlocked.
A musician at heart, I’ve written and produced TV themes, radio jingles, beds and idents, in addition to my work as Modifier.
My career began as an Audio Engineer at Doghouse Studios with acclaimed producer Rico Capuano in 2005. I then transitioned to radio as a Studio Manager for the BBC politics show ‘Riddoch Questions’ on Radio Scotland in 2007.
I joined Dabster Productions, initially working on The Guardian Live at the Gilded Balloon with Miles Jupp. Since then, I’ve recorded, edited and mixed literally hundreds of radio shows and podcasts. I’ve made documentaries, panel shows, features and some of the best comedy ever to be broadcast.
Notable achievements include Terry Alderton’s Whole Half Hour, a finalist in the Best Scripted Comedy category at the BBC Audio Drama Awards and Rosie Jones: Box Ticker which won Silver at the BBC Audio Awards.
During the Covid pandemic, I started mixing shows remotely for BBC Studios in London, making programmes such as The Train on Platform 4, DMs are Open and Anneka Has Issues. I’ve since added Pier Productions to my client list with productions including Opening Lines and History on the Edge, and News UK with the hit podcast Murder In The Granite City.
