SEAN KERWIN does music creation and production, and audio engineering and broadcasting. He has been producing music for over 15 years and specialises in electronic forms of music for a range of outlets including commercial release, broadcasting and new media.
Sean has 12 years sound engineering experience ranging from live broadcasting, craft editing and sound recording for BBC Radio output, to studio engineering at The Doghouse recording studio and Abertay University’s ‘Whitespace’. He has recorded and editing some of the UK’s most popular podcasts including The Guardian Live at the Edinburgh Fringe, Live at the Stand Comedy Club and the Amnesty International Comedy Podcast. Additionally, he has extensive experience creating engaging multi-platform content through his role as Creative Director for Manky Records, an edgy Scottish comedy label.
As well as his professional creative work, Sean also holds a part time lecturing position in Creative Technologies at Glasgow Kelvin College. Previous teaching positions have included Perth College and Abertay University as well as in community arts sector and initiatives such as BBC Blast.
